Privacy Policy
Operated by Glimivo. Effective July 4, 2026. Questions: team@glimivo.com
Introduction
Glimivo ("Glimivo", "we", "us") operates an invitation builder that lets creators design interactive invitation pages and collect responses from recipients.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Glimivo, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information: When you sign in, we store your email address and a unique user identifier through our authentication provider (Supabase).
Creator display name: You may add a display name to your account. If provided, we show it on published invitations so recipients know who created the invite. A display name is required before you can publish an invitation. You can update your name anytime in Account.
Invitation content: Titles, themes, step configuration, appearance settings, optional passcodes, and response data submitted by recipients.
Guest drafts: If you use the guest builder before signing in, draft data may be stored locally in your browser until you sign in to claim it.
Technical data: Standard server logs may include IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and reliability.
Payments and premium credits
Premium credit purchases are processed by Stripe. When you buy credits, you enter payment details on Stripe’s checkout pages, not on our forms.
We do not collect, store, or have access to full card numbers, CVV codes, or other full payment-card credentials.
We store purchase records on your account (credits purchased, amount, timestamp) and a Stripe session identifier for support and fraud prevention. We also store your credit balance and a history of when credits are used to publish premium invitations.
Your credit balance and purchase/usage history are always available in Account. Billing-related emails (such as purchase receipts) may be sent to your account email when we enable those notifications.
Stripe processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy. See https://stripe.com/privacy for how Stripe handles payment data.
How we use information
We use your information to provide the service, save and publish invitations, deliver share links, collect responses, process premium purchases, maintain your credit balance and history, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
We display your creator display name on published invitations when you provide one, so recipients can identify who sent the invite.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account and invitation data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service.
You may delete invitations from your dashboard. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Account settings. Some information may be retained where required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections, authenticated access controls, and hashed passcodes where applicable.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at team@glimivo.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children
Glimivo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date.
